ABOUT WARTAC

WARTAC CQC, a US based company, was founded in 2004 to provide police, military, and civilians with a practical and realistic approach to firearm disarming, firearm retention, and edged weapon defense. The system has evolved to include clinch fighting, ground fighting, close quarter shooting, building clearing, carbine tactics, and empty-handed defense.

WARTAC CQC has trained police and military units across the country and has produced a line of training DVDs distributed by Paladin Press. Co-founders Richard Nance and David Hallford have authored a book on firearm retention, which is scheduled to be published in 2010 and have authored dozens of articles that have appeared in law enforcement, martial arts, and firearms industry magazines.
