WARTAC DVD Review

A review of WARTAC's Firearm Acquisition Tactics DVD in the 2nd Quarter 2006 issue of the Journal of Tactics and Training (A publication of the Police Officer Safety Association, Inc.)

The WARTAC team of Rich Nance and David Hallford have come up with another approach to both of these vital skills (firearm disarmament and edged weapon defense). Mr. Nance is a black belt and SWAT officer, while Mr. Hallford holds multiple black belts. They have clearly been thinking about these subjects both long and hard, and they have come up with something new. Of course, nothing's new in defensive tactics, but their approach to both subjects has not been committed to video and effectively disseminated prior to this to our knowledge...We highly recommend that you see what these two experienced gentleman have to say on these subjects. You may or may not wind up adopting their approaches as your personal favorites, but then again you may! And if you instruct in these subjects, you really need to expose yourself to their material.
