DAVID HALLFORD
David Hallford began studying Shotokan Karate in August 1966 and received his first black belt in 1970. After training in and teaching that system for several years, David began to explore other systems to see what they had to offer. In the early nineties, David received a black belt in Chinese Kempo. Around that time, David actively sought several well-known instructors to see what their systems could offer in terms of realistic self-defense. Not completely satisfied with what he had seen, David developed his own self-defense system, which he subsequently taught for several years. In 2004, David co-founded WARTAC CQC. Since that time, he has traveled across the country providing tactical training to law enforcement and military units. He has authored several articles on self-defense related topics and co-produced three instructional DVDs.
